We invite extended abstracts of 1500-2000 words. Please, use the same template as for the Extended Abstract of the main GIScience conference. The pdf template is provided at the main conference page.

Submit your contributions in pdf format by sending you paper to monicaw@unb.ca and christophe.claramunt@ecole-navale.fr

Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by the program committee.  Papers will not only be evaluated on scientific quality but also on innovative ideas. Accepted papers will be published in the workshop proceedings in electronic format and possibly submitted for publication as a special issue or edited volume. At least one author of accepted papers will be required to present their research at the workshop. 

Important Dates

• Deadline for extended abstracts: 1 May 2016
• Notification of acceptance for extended abstracts: 15 June 2016
• Final version of extended abstracts (prepared after any required revisions): 10 July 2016
• Workshop at GIScience conference: 27 Sept 2016
